Semadar Megged brings her extensive experience as children’s picture books art director and designer at Penguin Random House Young Readers to her own studio, working with publishing houses such as Levine Querido, Norton Young Readers, Simon & Schuster, Penguin, and Holiday House, as well as with independently published authors and illustrators.

Over the years Semadar has worked closely with best-selling and award-winning illustrators (Caldecott Medal, The New York Times Best Sellers List and Best Illustrated Children's Books, The New York Book Show and Society of Illustrators’ Original Art Show) including Ed Young, David Small, Loren Long, Rafael López, Hyewon Yum, Nancy Carpenter, Will Hillenbrand, and Patricia Polacco, in addition to working with debut talents (at the time) including Renata Liwska and Ale Barba and new talents at Room to Read. She has been giving talks and critiques at various SCBWI conferences and other forums.

Alongside her work on children's picture books and chapter book interiors Semadar has been designing trade covers and miscellaneous illustrated non-fiction books.
